I've been playing this and I've been very impressed, those involved deserve a big pat on the back. I like the way it's a faithful Half Life Remake but they've also 'remixed' a few bits to fit in the Source engines unique features. The jumping i'm finding a bit irritating but that's nitpicking.
After all these years I still think the monorail intro is one of the coolest ever in games, it sets the scene so well. |

I really gotta play this tonight, i downloaded on Saturday and have just left it.
This is brilliant for people like me who have played Half Life 2 but missed the first :-) |

That wonderful Half Life glow, no matter how many games I play Half Life just has an atmosphere and cinematic realism that fills me with awe.
And that's just from running the Source Stress Test, can't wait to rediscover how it all started and get playing the game.

This game makes me sick - literally. Almost threw up my head was spinning with the always run option on.

They did an incredible job! Should be very proud of themselves. Soundtrack is class too!

I remember all the trippy platform stuff at the end, eight years though, could have finished it all.

I hated the Xen level, all that whacky floaty platform crap.
