Anna Wing who played Lou Beale in Eastenders is still alive and almost 95.
I was quite surprised to find this out recently, especially as her on-screen character died of old age more than 20 years ago!
Yes I keep thinking she is dead what with the hearse stopping and the train going over the bridge. But yes she is alive. I ran across her in real life many years ago.
Eli Wallach is 94 in December and still making films. Another actor Kevin McCarthy is 95 and is also currently making a film. The old lady in Titanic played by Gloria Stuart is 99. Bill Erwin (actor who's been in loads of things) is 94.

Mickey Rooney is still 88 at the moment, however hes still acting as he had done since 1927! He started in vaudeville! :eek:
