Pleased for Jessie but I KNEW Alia would go back.(
Absolutely. And at the end were told that Alia has been in Pakistan for 9 months and is now pregnant again. I imagine that she'll return to give birth here courtesy of the NHS (or rather, the taxpayer). From the very beginning of the programme, I didn't find her completely credible.
That's not to say that there isn't a big problem of forced marriage, but it's a pity that we weren't shown a more 'sympathetic' character. On the other hand, perhaps Alia is quite representative. Either way, the taxpayer yet again is having to foot the bill for an imported social pathology.
I thought it was an interesting documentary. I found Alia was a sympathetic character because her situation was complex. I can't imagine being a teenage mother trying to consider my own wellbeing as well as my son's with the pressure put on her by her family.

Feel sorry for the Kids in this situation
