Hi
Probably being stupid but...
I've got my laptop connected with a short USB cable into the front of my Hummy and my Laptop can 'see' the Hummy.
I have media Linker running and it 'connects' but only shows 'images' and 'mp3' folders. Can't find my recorded proprammes. Not sure what to do next.
Any help apreciated.

"Media Player Classic" is a freeware app that will play the ts files , if you need to convert them to MP2 to then burn a DVD you need to "Demux" the file - "Project X" is java freeware and does the job. Some people use Project X to remux to as well but I use "Imago"

I don't have download links to hand but if you search these forums for those 3 names I'm sure you'll find links

PS You'll need another piece of software to author the DVD from the mp2s - there are lots of threads here to help with that

Changing the extension from TS to mpeg doesn't change the file in to an mpeg, it just changes the extension. You need software to change the file.
VLC media player available from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ will play the TS files.
There's some good info in the FAQ at www.hummy.org.uk

    Thanks Folks
Just downloaded a trial version of VideoReDo.
    Works fine.
Might look at your ideas when the trial runs out.
