That's because Rugby League is a northern sport.
I know London have a team. But it was artificially created. And the team have failed to capture the imagination of Londoners - at least, so far.

London have had professions RL teams since the 1930's, longer than the likes of Doncaster or Sheffield.

Tanya Arnold is fairly uncontroversial presenter, not especially butch or bad looking.

Sky on the other hand play up to the Northern stereotype on their coverage.

I see the OP is now inactive

And his profile says he is 56.

Obviously not a very mature 56....

IMO, I don't have a problem with Tanya, I think she is a superb broadcaster. My issue is with the same old pundits that BBC trot out all the time. There are hundreds of personalities in RL, why choose the same one's time after time after time?

As for whoever said Gration was a better presenter of the Super League Show.....i'm sorry but I completely disagree with you on that. He was almost as horrific as the jumpers he wore!
