I hope Columbia does on air/on sale for the lead single in September, they can premiere the song with Capital FM in late September then jet off to the US to do a radio tour which should take them 1 or 2 weeks, maybe shoot the video out there.
I like this idea esp. the video part, but we dont know when they show up in the Palladium schedule yet, Could be early, could be late or right in the middle. In any case I hope that Columbia doesnt wait months to release the album in the US this time since there doesnt seem to be any promo they have to wait to tie in.
I guess the UK labels really like the high peak, but I notice truly popular songs stay in the charts for weeks anyway so I cant see how OA/OS would do anything but help squelch illegal downloads and grab those impulse buys.

Jesy's in LA, she attended Rixton's show there last night. I wonder if it's just her own personal trip or if the rest of them are coming as well. Is it too much to hope that they're doing a songwriting session with someone interesting? Maybe they're just recording.
Jesy needs to educate herself while she's at it, I just watched an interview wheee she implied men/boys can't wear make up. It's 2014 for heavensake, how can people be this narrow minded! As a gay male I find this disgusting!
I'm sure on air/on sale was trialled in the UK by Sony at one point, but they knocked it on the head because other labels wouldn't adopt it, creating an uneven playing field in the charts.
Some of universal also tried it but it simply doesn't work in the UK on the whole, a few artists managed to still do well but the majority flopped. Radio in the UK takes an average of 6weeks to build which is why most artists take that long from premiere to release. I think the problem was both Sony & Universal picked and selected which artists and songs to do it with and it seemed radio didn't really pick up on it. For it to work both labels would have to agree for it to be rolled out with absolutely every release for it to be fair and for it to work. If personally love OA/OS but I can't see it being attempted again in a very long time.
Am I the only one who gets really annoyed when fans refer to artists as queens? I really hope this doesn't catch on in the Little Mix fan base, it's what's driven me away from socialising within The Saturdays fans lol. Plus it would kind of go against what LM stand for.

LM fans please you need to learn to stop responding to trolls it really stinks up this forum. I just came here expecting something interesting to read yet it's another argument, smh. We know Jesy wasn't being homophobic since she was speaking for the majority of boys who would refuse to wear make-up because of "society's rules". A sweet girl like Perrie was called foul, like really she may be a little daft but far from foul. Engaging in those comments will bring this forum down we don't need a repeat of what happened a month or 2 back.

I guess I do see it as a bad thing. The connotations of a Queens personality isn't a good thing IMO. I know it doesn't really matter it's just a personal thing, it's just when threads become littered with fans referring to their fave as a queen for this and that and It just a bit unnecessary. I've seen a few sites have banned the use of referring to artists as Queen lately because of it getting so overboard. But hey ho maybe I should stop benig such a grumpy ass. I'm sure it'll blow over eventually anyway.
