I got this Email from my sister today left a book on the plane. Don't remember who it is by or what it is called but was about 1/3 of the way in. It's about a lady called Esme who has been released from an asylum and ends up with her great niece who I think is called Iris who knew nothing about her til she got a phone call. Esme was raised in India as a child as the book has flashbacks to her childhood. Any ideas????????? I want to know what happened, It was a woman author and a fairly current book plus she has written others.

Any ideas anyone?

I bought it today Im very wary of my sisters recommendations since the Strange Norell debacle
