Just wanted to say thanks for the updates you give over the months.
I keep hoping DeAgostini will launch Build a Model Railway after the trial was stopped but no joy so far :-(

You're welcome, it's handy to have the info all in one place. I'm not sure what's happened with the model railway partwork; it's been on a few regional tests but for some reason they have yet to roll it out to national launch. This could be for a number of reasons including poor performance, quality issues, costs.
DeAgostini may still go with it at some stage but like a lot of trials over hte years, it might never get a full launch.

The Deagostini Bonanza collection seems to have run into a few problems. The original subscription offer included a free copy of 'Bonanza: The Next Generation' but this has now been withdrawn and replaced by a free issue of the magazine.

I love mechanical things (think it's because we live in a world where everything is so digital) but not sure I can justify the price!

The Deagostini Bonanza dvds are already appearing in charity shops, saw two copies of the disc from part 1 in a shop this morning! They were £2.99,which is the same as the introductory price that was charged for part 1 complete with mag. No sign of the mag though! This got me thinking actually,on partwork dvds you often see "Not to be sold seperately from the companion guide",so are charity shops technically breaking the rules and/or law by selling any partwork dvds that may have been donated?
