I'd say they've mostly been covered but Pete Beale not being David's father is one that seems to crop up a fair deal these days.
Other than that, as stated, the ones that really bug me as there is no way they are possible due to what we've actually seen on screen, dates

As much as I love Hollyoaks, the rape storyline has turned into an utterly sensationalist cop out. If Eastenders was to go down this route, I have no doubt it would be handled in a much more respectively than simply a ratings grabber which IMO is what is currently happening at HO

Cora being Sharon's mum was by far the worst. You couldn't even mention the obvious flaws in their theory without being SHOUTED down by posters who INSISTED they were right, and that we'd all look stupid when the reveal happened.

Yeah, they kept saying that "this will definitely happen soon, then you'll look stupid". Saying that, one of them was actually gracious enough to admit they were wrong, and the others disappeared.
Another one which really annoyed me was the whole 'Tanya is only leaving for 6 months' story which was invented by Tanya fans on this forum.
Nowhere in any news story did it mention that Joyner was taking six months off, it was clearly stated that she was leaving at the end of her contract. Yet we continued to hear 'Jo is back in six months' and 'Newman has obviously planned this' - with clearly no understanding of how a contract of employment actually works.
It was incredibly tedious, and again they were proved wrong.

The original news article in May 2012 stated very clearly that Jo was leaving at the end of her contract. It was never reported as a break. Jo stated that she intended to return, but she was out of contract so it's not her decision to make.
