Julia Roberts and meryl Streep for me! So I can not wait to see them together in August osage county in November!
I actually met Julia Roberts in New York when she was in a broadway show. She was wonderful and very sweet. The crowds were stupidly crazy but she signed hundreds of autographs and spent a good 30 minutes after the show chatting to people - despite her security being very unhappy about it!!!

Jennifer Lawrence. Not only is she beautiful and very talented, she is the same age as me, which means we are destined to marry.

There is only one actress today that can drag me into a cinema, and that is Meryl Streep. For me she has the magic star quality of my all time favourite actress, Barbara Stanwyck.

Otherwise I prefer to sit at home and watch one of the 87 Stanwyck films that I have on video and DVD.

Classic Hollywood: can watch Ingrid Bergman in just about anything. Transcendent.

Contemporary: like a lot of ones mentioned here - Bullock, Streep, Julianne Moore. Posey is great because she's sort of fearless. And Lawrence is probably the best young actress, which can be a curse of sorts. Hathaway is probably the nearest thing to Hepburn. I also like Kristin Stewart (yes. K-Stew) in stuff other than sparkly vampires. She's very spunky.

Marion Cotillard I think is undeniably brilliant, Emily Blunt and Zooey Deschanel probably round out the top three for me. I think they're all just really engaging, not necessarily the best actresses in Hollywood, but probably the most endearing.
