As someone who is not 'obsessed' with MG, I think that he brings a younger ear to Radio Caroline, while still appreciating some older classic tracks. He is also a cut above the usual 'internet only' presenter.

    Listened to him. Nothing special.

They have much better presenters than him.

Admittedly I only heard the last 30mins but in that time I heard nothing special. In fact when he started Eric Clapton with just 6 minutes of the show left and then said Heart and Foo Fighters on the way I thought how are you possibly going to fit them in! And he didn't.

He did, you never listened long enough..
And you can interact with him on Skype...

what other presenter would even give you the time of day??

No he didn't. If the Foos got played it wasn't him that played them. A presenter should be doing just that, no wonder there was no effort put into his links, he was Skyping instead of prepping.

You said he was on 2-6pm, right? Foo Fighters did not get played before 6pm. As I say I listened for 30mins from 5.30pm. Was it a different jock after 6? Presumably yes and they may have played the foos. I know what I didn't hear!

I see there's no point discussing this further with you. I do hope you continue to enjoy Marc's shows though.

    No can't stand chris Evans.

And nobody is right or wrong here. It's all personal taste. I just don't think that Marc Griffiths is Gods gift to radio, You clearly do. Which is fine. Its your opinion. But I do question why you are so obsessed with him. If you are Marc under another name that's about as sad as it gets.

    :D

It's the nastiest sniping and unnecessary insults to people that put me of places like this and forums in general.

Are you trying to insult us all by saying that if we work in broadcasting but have a proper job as well that actually pays our bills in the real world that we are all stupid, incompetent and need patronising and being made to look like idiots?

I hate radio broadcasting industry snobbery. It's no wonder so many people these days make this not a nice place to be or industry to work in with all the unecessary nastiness around!
