Who’s your most despicable, evil movie or tv villain ever?

After mentioning a particularly unsavoury bag guy in the Anime/Manga thread it got me thinking about great movie/tv bad guys.

Off the top of my head (apart from Tenzen in the Anime thread) the first name that popped up was Clarence Boddiker from Robocop.

I was 10 at the time when I watched it and his cocky, cheeky chappy personality together with his brutality towards others had me terrified every time he was on screen.

Surely horror film serial killers are a given....

Away from that genre, the hubby in Sleeping with the Enemy is rotten to the core. That's what I call evil.

Alex in Fatal Attraction. Mild mannered at first but then just goes completely nuts. Especially the infamous scene which I won't spoil here for anyone who hasn't seen it.

That bloke from the Human Centipede is good, but also impressive is Ben Kingsley's Don Logan in Sexy Beast.

Darth Sidious for the way he just soaked up all the power as Chancellor Palpatine over the course of the three prequels, manipulated Anakin to the dark side and destroyed almost all of the Jedi in one swoop.

Freddy Krueger, just pure evil and killed most of the kids in lots of different ways

Yes, I can agree with that one as well! Also the guy in Silence of the Lambs, he freaked me out.
