All they want is attention, but they should be thankful they live in a country that allows them to get away with this. They must also think if they're so against the "crusades", why are they living in a country they say they hate?
Blimey, these fools have no sense of health and safety.
They're not fit to lick the mud off the boots of our war dead. And they just proved it. Sooner religion is dead the better. Seems to me this Middle eastern God (from both of the religions involved) deserves to be forgotten now. Thanks for the handy reminder, medieval fools.:)
And if you dare defend your country as a brit you are blasted as racist, prejudice etc. I am fed up of people coming to live in this country then slamming it.
I would never dream of going to another country and disrespecting their history, religion or values.
I would suspect many of those protesting were born here.
We all jump on the phone to offcom about Xfactor, big brother ect. All go mental if a lady chucks a cat in the bin.
But disrespect our values and history that we built as a nation we just say oh well its ok they are entitled to free speech.
The attitue toward political, religious, and well being matters of our nation as a whole are fuked up. Priorities are all wrong in the UK.
You are entitled to reply to them, ridicule them, whatever. That's what freedom means but it applies to everyone in this country, not just those you agree with.
That's what I don't understand. If they're so vehemently against the West then why are they here? Of course we KNOW why they are here: easy life, benefits, all the luxaries and all the whilst spitting on the graves of the past Britons who made this country so great.
I would suspect many of those protesting were born here.
Did you see the pictures in that artical? If they were born here then it is even more disrespectful. Our nation wouldn't be here if it wasnt for our great grandfathers.
Recently the police arrested people for buring a Koran in the UK - will the police arrest the popy burners - i wonder .
I can't even remember this story, though of course I remember the chap in the US who caused a media storm by threatening to do so. Where did the koran burning take place? What was the charge that led to arrests?
No offence, surely, to burn paper poppies. I wonder what offence you have in mind?
Because we live in a democracy.
Those who have fallen gave their lives so that we live in a free society where dissent even objectionable dissent is allowed.
True. I wonder if they're aware of the irony that those they so vehemently claim are in hell played a large part in securing the freedom that enables them to protest? Probably not.
They're not against betting shops, hookers, and Adidas trainers, interestingly.
Exactly!
They can't have it both way. If they want Britain to become a Muslim state, they must say goodbye to prostitution, alcohol, betting- in fact, any Western ideology. Why can't we just live our own lives?
The English Defence League are just as bad- dishonouring brave men and women by going their looking for a fight. The only thing both these groups want is publicity.
Did you see the pictures in that artical? If they were born here then it is even more disrespectful. Our nation wouldn't be here if it wasnt for our great grandfathers.
The attitude of extreamists disgust me and I have a right to say so.
My point? More liked what's your point? You said in relation to this thread:

..how do you know they are not born and bred Brits? Why are you assuming they're not born here? Also, our nation wouldn't be here if it were not for thousands of soldiers from the Commonwealth who fought and died in WW2.
Tbh imo I think if they disrespect our country like this, ship them back out.
If we went over to their country and done the same, we'd probably get put on the death row
Why are you suggesting that they are not UK citizens? I can't see anything to suggest that they are foreign. Rudeness is not specific to foreigners - we can do it perfectly well ourselves.
I do wish btw the Mail and the Express would stop using the bald word 'Muslims' every time they want to describe the actions of an obnoxious handful of people. They don't use any other religious affiliation as shorthand for a whole section of society.
Comments
Except that the Daily Mail just can't resist reporting incidents like this.
norty!
And why shouldn't they?
I thought it said "puppy"
Do you want them to cover it up .

Seems so , or get everyone to read the socialist worker.
Ugh, can't believe I've only just seen this thread.
It really does make me sick right down to the heart of my bones. Absolutely ****ing disgusting people.

Exactly! Hypocritical pieces of shit!

Surely it falls under the same offence as burning a paper book.
