What a lousy, diabolical job MTV have done of promoting new beavis and butt-head episodes.

no adverts being aired, no build-up, no pictures or articles in TV magazines, e.t.c......

MTV just automatically assumed fans would realise new eps were on.

    disgraceful.

You do realise that we're talking about US pace here dont you? It hasn't aired anywhere in the UK yet. And it was quite well advertised in the US from what i gather, the ratings were pretty good too.

Ah thank heavens for that, I adore B and B, I would have been pig sick if I missed the 1st ep.

sorry I got the wrong end of the stick - I was under the impression the OP was talking about united kingdom (UK) airings.

didn't know we was talking about America, sorry.

The title does include US Pace and this is the US programs forum but fair enough. It's up on most of the regular rls sites.

Could the title be changed. This is Season 8, not 9!

    No. According to mtv.com, it's season 9.

Well they are wrong and hopeless these days. It ran for 7 seasons in the 90's. Tv.com says it and so does wiki. Unless MTV are counting Season 5 as two seasons because it ran for an entire year (Oct 31st '94 - Oct 12th '95) That must be it ;)

Just watched this and it was brill.

    " Wow you're crying."
    "No I'm not."
    "You're crying like a girl. You're moved."

Good to see it's still as good as it was when I was much younger.

It would be a lot better if it was 16:9, and less intrusive DOG though.

Do you have any matches? Set it on fire, it'll be better. :D

Enjoyed the latest two episodes, especially Tech Support which almost had me crying with laughter where they
take the computer at the end and leads to everyone looting the call centre
, can't wait for the next set of episodes (really looking forward to the Holy Cornholio)

Wouldn't streaming it be easier as you can watch it whenever you want

Blech. Prefer watching stuff on the TV.

TiVo might help here, if it's on YouTube. ;)

    Why's Stewart still wearing a 'Winger' T-shirt?

AC/DC and Metallica (on B & B's shirts) are timeless but Winger?

I've just caught up with this week and last week's episodes.

Awesome! :D I liked the first double of the season a couple of weeks ago, but the last two weeks' worth were brilliant. "Daughter's Hand" had me crying with laughter, as did "Tech Support", and the two extended ones from this week were great too.

I doubt any current band they could put in that position- Nickelback spring to mind- would be happy about being used in that context.

Both these episodes were awesome. Stewart's joy at the thought of getting laid was brilliant. Drones was also fun and shows what they can do now with the computer animation over the old drawn style.

The gorillas, juiceheads and guidos debate was also funny. The story about Rick the counsellor was just a bit disturbing but ties into the joke from the first episode where Beavis says all the child molesters he has met look alike.

If they were to replace the Winger T-shirt, then they should also replace Beavis and Butt heads shirts.

Slipknot and Linkin Park. Or Slipknot and Eminem.

As for Stewart's T-shirt, any British band would do. British music is unlistenable.

    Absolute Nonsense!:D:p

As I said previously, AC/DC and Metallica's music is timeless, it's not stuck in a certain era. Those bands will continue for decades.

AC/DC and Metallica had already been around for years when B & B first started.

The old t-shirts totally work. B&B the characters are so out of touch with reality in generally, but the old-age shirts, especially Metallica shirt, make them seem even more out-of-touch with today's world.

Okay so the music videos/reality clips remain inconsistent, but the actual stories have been pretty great. I really like the longer 'Drones' and definitely 'Holy Cornholio'. I thought that 'Daughter's Hand' was pure genius.
