Time for a new one? We'll go a bit different, how about your top 3 rap songs.

    1. Diamonds From Sierra Leone - Kanye West
    2. Lose Yourself - Eminem
    3. Live Your Life - T.i. ft. Rihanna

I'm not a huge rap fan myself. Only decent rap :\

This is not easy. I am not a fan of rap.

    1) The Message ~ Grand Master Flash & The Furious Five (Classic)
    2) Rappers Delight ~ The Sugrahill Gang
    3) Rat Rapping ~ Roland Rat Superstar:eek:

This is not easy. I am not a fan of rap.

I thought I'd do a difficult one because I realised that a lot of the people who had posted on this thread weren't really rap fans (myself included there) :p

I personally love rap so this is easier for me ....

    1. White lines - Grandmaster Flash / Melle Mel
    2. Lose yourself - Eminem
    3. Rapture - Blondie

    Grandmaster = definitive rap record
Eminem - even people I know who hate rap , love this track
Rapture - Better than it ought to have been .

Honourable mention to The Game : Hate it or love it

MJ lives - you are so right - most posters on these threads clearly have no time for / are indifferent to rap - so it will be interesting to see if anyone else posts a top 3 .

Not my favourite genre by any means, so these are probably at the more commercial end of rap.

    1. If I Ruled The World- Kurtis Blow
    2. It Takes Two- Rob Base/ DJ EZ Rock
    3. Mama Gave Birth To The Soul Children- Queen Latifah
