Amy wouldn't be much of a shock to me.
Not trying to sound harsh but Amy just doesn't have it I don't see her as a marketable pop star her diction was awful and I can't really see the general public warming to her on top of that I could never see her being a producers favorite.
In all seriousness though I've shown Lucy's audition to a lot of people and the majority of people I've spoken to seem to really like her. As well as that her audition is by far the most viewed and liked on youtube (Not to mention any video with her other original material has skyrocketed in popularity since her audition). Like her or don't like her, it's very easy to see why she's getting the attention she is.
I think Lucy is great, but she's SO not X factor! She totally deserves the exposure and I'm glad she's getting it, but she's an original singer songwriter - I can't see her singing cover versions to a theme each week and staying in contention. I think Lucy and the producers both know that she's not there to win the competition but to widen her audience and expand her market. I'm heartened that it looks as if that's what's happening.

I agree pretty much. No point lying, it's for entirely selfish reasons of me loving her personally that I want her in the competition I hope she manages to get to the tour at least if she makes the lives.
