    1. George's Marvellous Medicine. I used to read this book the most as a child and it remains a special place in my heart.

    2. The Twits. Great book and very funny.

    3. Matilda. Love the book and the character

    1. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, because CHOCOLATE!!

    2. The Witches, lovely relationship between the boy and his grandma, and I liked the bewitched painting.

    3. Matilda, because of Miss Trunchbull, and the ending.

    1) Matilda. Loved the titular heroine.

    2) The Magic Finger. Liked the way the heroine taught the Gregg family a lesson.

    3) Danny the Champion of the World. Still remember the emphasis on the wonderful father-son relationship.

Fantastic Mr Fox closely followed by Danny Champion of the World and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I was born in 1970 so didn't really read the later ones.

    1. George's Marvellous Medicine
    2. The Witches
    3. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory

So surprised that a movie version of George's MM hasn't be made to date.
I also liked his short stories for adults that became part of 'tales of the unexpected'. They are very much under appreciated.

    George's marvellous medicine
    Fantastic Mr fox
    The Twits

Can't decide on which order though. One book of his which I don't like is The BFG.

The BFG - Would read this a lot in my younger days.
The Witches - Great story. Dahl could conjour up evil characters with ease.
George's Marvellous Medicine - Loved the inventiveness of this and the humour.. Still remember this on jackanory being read by Rik Mayall.
