Okay but a bit over priced for what you get tbh. If you want to pay a bit more than you would at McD's for a high quality burger, Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) is a much better choice imo

I agree, much prefer GBK. Went to Byron Burgers once, wasn't impressed enough to return.
They're not remotely new, they've been around since 2007. Byron, like it's counterpart, GBK is very average. Best burgers in London for me is either Ed's or Meat Liquor
I visited Byron in Liverpool last year - it was just after all the fuss in the media about George Osbourne ordering a Byron for his tea, so I was intrigued to find out what all the fuss was about! Anyway, the burger I had was delicious & I hope to visit Byron again soon
The other day I stumbled across this list of the (subjective) best burgers in the UK. Haven't been to any of those places but I thought that some of you might be interested.
Mrs Wombat wants to give some of them a whirl, so I shall report back if I remember.

Like Ronald McDonald?
Acceptable for a cheap lunch but not somewhere you would go to in the evening

Yes, but not rare. Their medium rare is more like a medium though, in my opinion.

Pretty much this.
Far better than GBK though.
Medium rare will do me.
