Re Teddington: Even less studio space in London now.ABC actually conducted colour tests at Teddington for quite a while in the 60s but they opted for the French SECAM system while the BBC were testing NTSC and PAL (which was eventually adopted). I wonder what will happen to the blue plaque commemorating Morecambe and Wise ?

i have always thought that there should be professionals available to internet forums for no extra cost to help people who obviously have mental health issues, there are some people who are "enabled" by being able to put their conspiracy theories and blind hatred into the public domain.

I wouldn't dare suggest OP has mental health issues, that would be for professionals to decide.;-)

Do you agree with its Public Purposes ????
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/aboutthebbc/insidethebbc/whoweare/publicpurposes/
and the recitals in its charter
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/governance/regulatory_framework/charter_agreement/
it has been represented to Us by Our right trusty and well beloved Counsellor Tessa Jowell, Our Principal Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, that it is expedient that the BBC should be continued for the period ending on the 31st December 2016 and that the objects, constitution and organisation of the BBC should be reformed so as to enable the BBC still better to serve the interests of Our People
:AND WHEREAS in view of the widespread interest which is taken by Our People in services which provide audio and visual material by means of broadcasting or the use of newer technologies, and of the great value of such services as means of disseminating information, education and entertainment,
We believe it to be in the interests of Our People that there should continue to be an independent corporation and that it should provide such services, and be permitted to engage in other compatible activities, within a suitable legal framework:

And you site as evidence information from eighteen months ago,Mexico was discussed over and over at the time.

Sky, not the BBC came very close too loosing its broadcasting licence, a year or so back, so they were not fit for purpose.

I agree, I hope they find a home somewhere. There should really have been one on the wall of TC8 at TV Centre which was their usual studio although sometimes they were in TC1.

What a load of rubbish! The BBC is still the best broadcaster in the UK. Its move to the north has worked and has promoted its subtitling service as I have to use subtitles to understand most of what is spoken these days lol!

To be fair you'd find things like this in most companies, and most groups of people - you just don't hear about them.

    Murdoch group still at it,

Mazher Mahmood the Fake sheikh Mazher Mahmood cases to be reviewed by CPS
Crown Prosecution Service reviews 25 cases based on Sun reporter’s evidence and inquiry into football spot-fixing is halted

    This week, not 2013,

Criminal convictions in 25 cases are to be re-examined over concerns about evidence provided by the undercover Sun on Sunday reporter Mazher Mahmood.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said it would review the convictions and had dropped three “live” cases following the collapse of the trial of former X-Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos in July.

The Guardian has separately learned that another of the recent investigations halted was a major football spot-fixing inquiry in which 13 men were arrested following a Sun on Sunday sting in December 2013.

The CPS review could lead to the convictions of dozens of people being deemed unsafe, including some who were jailed on the basis of potentially compromised evidence given by Mahmood, the so-called fake sheikh. The re-examination of 25 old cases follows a judge’s decision to halt the Contostavlos trial because he said there were “strong grounds for believing Mr Mahmood told me lies” and “had been manipulating the evidence”.

Mahmood, a former News of the World and Sunday Times journalist, denies any wrongdoing. He has been suspended by the Sun on Sunday.

It is understood that concerns about Mahmood’s evidence led to 13 men being released from police bail in July after being arrested in a football spot-fixing investigation launched following a Sun on Sunday sting in December 2013.

The CPS said it was in the process of providing the defendants in 25 cases with material that “might cast doubt upon the safety of any convictions”. It said there were no cases in which defendants were still in prison, but that it had identified three live cases where “there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction” after reexamining evidence provided by Mahmood.

Any media under the control of Murdoch should have its licence revoked.

Who else is sick of this neverending Tory inspired bitch fest about the BBC? It's truly pathetic.

Why do you think this is Tory inspired? Surely some people have genuine concerns about the BBC?

Isn't repeating the exact same actions again and again and expecting different outcomes a sign of mental issues?

Yes they do, but the OP is simply reposting the same old topics about the BBC, all of witch have been discussed in numerous threads previously again and again. He is simply spamming the forum.
