Sorry not sure if there is already a thread on this
first got this game last year and played it occasionally but when I did I really enjoyed it liked the fact that the choices the person makes changes the storyline after all the time of and I finally decided I was going to actually complete it although I was a little bit disappointed with the ending I got from it
And I was left confused about who the killer was in the end
What’s everyone else's experiences of the game and what endings did you get?

Really good game just I can't get used to using PS move on it.
ah right
I'm not even going to start on the false-lead origami nonsense with Ethan.
Despite my gripes about the plot I loved the game, its the only game ever that hubby has sat down with me and played, he said it was like watching a movie lol. I'd love more of these type of games to come out
All in all it didn't quite live up to what it was attempting, but it had a lot of ambition and it was quite an experience. It has absolutely no replay value though.
i
I disagree. I've played through it three times and I've really enjoyed it on every occasion. In fact, I plan on replaying it once more to unlock the fourth and final ending.
That said I agree with some of the gripes about the plot mentioned above, in particular
Nevertheless, I thought it was a good twist and I've been satisfied with each ending so far. The game certainly knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Also I thought it would have been better if the killer changed. So if you play through it differently the killer would be someone different. However this would have messed with the story too much and meant lots of more work for the developers so I am happy with what was produced.
i would do the same
Is it anything like L.A Noire??
Not really, the only similarities to Heavy Rain I noticed in LA Noire were the decision making bits i.e. the bits where you decide how much you believe what a suspect is telling you during an interrogation, or the bits where you decide on whether or not to charge a suspect. You can make very similar types of decisions in Heavy Rain.
Nevertheless, if you're looking for something with an engaging story and interesting gameplay then Heavy Rain is definitely worth getting.
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrm.
There's over 20...
You can multiple endings at once;)
There is?
Mind you, I suppose the story does have the potential to go a variety of ways.
I enjoyed Heavy Rain and have played it twice now. The game controls are a bit frustrating though, and a lot of the scenes are unnecessarily repetitive. There seemed to be a lot of trips to the medicine cabinet, and sometimes you think "oh no, the game won't make me do that again will it?" Sure enough, it will. Also sometimes the controls freeze and you end up powerless to interfere.
However the game does have an excellent storyline and, if you can put up with it's annoyances, it's worth it.
It's more of a movie than a game really, but a movie where you can try and influence the ending.
I will buy it back soon and replay it hoping for a different ending
the more i think about it, it seems like this game could be played so many times and not get annoying or repetitive, when i buy it back i'm going to do a playthrough every few months so that over time i will have forgetten some of the details so even if i do go the same route again it will still fell somewhat fresh
It is definitely worthwhile playing through twice.
First time I got an awful ending, I believe it may have been the second "worst" ending possible. Some dreadful decision making on my part throughout
Second playthrough I knew what mistakes I had made so got the perfect ending
Still tempted to go back and do it a third time as there's a few scenes I haven't witnessed at all.
Jayden was killed by Mad Max. and the other cop got his glasses and saw him in the glasses.
Ethan saved Madison and shot Shelby.
Ethan, Shaun and Madison move into a new flat.
whats her face spits on Scott's grave and says that she hates him.
saddest part was when the little boy drowns and says, "don't forget me Scottie."
I'm sure the guy in it is the private detective from Heavy Rain.
Really weird seeing somebody and you can't quite place them and then realising that the last time you saw them, you were playing them.
