LOL the Fearne Cotton joke again :D:D
I was having a giggle at the screen caption names but gave out a laugh when she came on.

As good as, if not better than the first series. Loved the way the manager used reverse psychology on them as he was fed up with the disagreements.

First (The Sound of Music) and The Big Area are classic albums. They gigged at my college back in the day.

    Then Jerico btw....

Amusing the way they had the Bergerac music at the end

I watched this on catch up. Still enjoyable, although they seem to have narrowed the main Brian Pern character down to the personality of Peter Gabriel, with his former band dynamic being that of Pink Floyd post their mid 1980s "divorce" with his character being the Roger Waters, to the other two David Gilmour & Nick Mason; and their manager navigating and playing the members off against each other to get things resolved.

The highlight was the well observed and timely arrest scene.

Maybe in real life Martin Freeman gets a bit fed up with people wanting to talk about Benedict

Unless people are talking about The Hobbit, in which case perhaps Benedict gets fed up with people wanting to talk about Martin :)

I don't know, it was funny because like Fearne Cotton, that wasn't Baz Bamigboye. Baz is a black writer who does the showbiz bit for the Daily Mail. The guy on screen was white. lol

    Hilarious!

They were sailing close to the wind with that main musical refrain for Day of the Triffids! ;)

That was brilliant tonight. Loved it. The bit where he couldn't get past the security guard was wonderful and his face when Mark King and Paul Young had taken over was priceless.
And full marks to Roger Moore.

Is it so wrong of me to want to buy the musical version of The Day Of The Triffids?

I loved the way the script worked in Jeff Wayne being in the studio next door and him just choosing to use a different star of the Wild Geese. Inspired.

I must have had a humour bypass. I thought the first series was terrible, but tried again after reading one or two enthusiastic reviews.

It makes Count Arthur Strong seem like a masterpiece.

It might not be original, but it's very well done and provides plenty of laughs.

Why the BBC bury stuff like this on BBC4 and promote the comedy turd it does on the two main channels is a mystery to me.
