  OP, always remember that every other driver on the road is completely unaware that you are a new driver so noone will be looking and judging!
  
  Just get in the drivers seat and drive. As the saying goes, 'you pass your test and only then do you learn to drive'!

  I didn't learn to drive until my 40's and will never be a confident driver.
  Luckily, I don't have to do much big town driving. I've only driven to Oxford twice and got lost and tooted at both times
  
  The best thing I did was get a little 2-seater convertible. Not a big engine but it gave me way more confidence and is a lot of fun
