The Pirates in an adventure with the Scientists
    7/10
Very funny, plus any kids film that can fit 'London Calling' in its soundtrack is ok in my book :p

haha, from what I've heard it is a solid 5/10 movie. Personally I haven't watched it yet as I'm a huge Battle Royale fan (Movie, Manga & Novel) nd to me Hunger Games just seems like a huge rip off.

Well no one's heard of Battle Royale apart from a few hipsters. THG on the other hand is smashing box office records and deservedly so.

The Guardian - 8/10 - Top Gun for the US Coastguard

The Debt - 9/10 - Quality, and you wouldn't want Mossad chasing you down

The Killer Elite - 4/10 - Good fight scenes, a worthy cast, some lousy dialogue and based on fictional twaddle

    Transformers: Dark of the moon.

3/10. Seemed to me like a parody of the first 2. And i couldn't believe the amount of swearing in it for a 12A film. Whole film was just garbage, verging on bizarre at times. Michael Bay must have been on some seriously strong stuff when directing it.

Iron Man 2 - not as good as the first but it's still OK, RDJ is still awesome. 6/10

I'm glad you liked it but I thought it was a bit weak. I don't know, maybe the books are superior. But I find it hard to believe that the author had no knowledge whatsoever of Battle Royale when she was writing the books.

Looking dated so could be due for a revisit.

Unless you're truly that ignorant, please don't belittle Battle Royale. I didn't like the film, but even I acknowledge that it's made a huge impact worldwide during its release and years afterwards.

That bad? How did it compare to Clash? I'm a huge Greek/Roman myth fan and besides Medusa I thought Clash was crap.

Far worse than Clash. If we hadn't got the boys with us we'd have walked out.

I wached The Illusionist, again last night, but this time, I had the Director's commentary on, which was a pretty good one.

    The Grey
Honestly, I found this movie to be both predictable and far fetched.
    4/10

    Man on a Ledge
Another pretty predictable movie, but an enjoyable one regardless.
A couple of nice twists that the less observant viewer may not spot coming and also, Genesis Rodriguez is shamelessly sexy.

    God Bless America
Simply one of th ebest movies I've seen in a LOOOOONNG time.
It's a bout a guy who has just had enough of society in America (although, it's no different from society in the UK either)
It's clearly made on a budget but regardless, this is a must see for anyone who isn't a huge fan of The X-Factor or Jersey Shore.
8/10 (knocked off a mark for the low budget)
