Ah, yes, Gigg had it's pecking order, young lads in the Boy's Stand, Yoof (with scarves wrapped round wrists) in the Cemmy, Posh beggars with brass in the Main Stand, Old Gits With Flasks in the South Stand.
Happy days.
in my time I did all of them..........:D
I think I went Boys, Cemy, South Terrace, South Stand and ended up in the Main Stand
There was even a time when the youths used to start off in the Manny Road End .......can't remember why now, maybe it was when they were doing some work on the Cemy End

If we had a local maternity unit, you could have done the lot, born near Gigg, every stand in order and then finish up 6 feet under in the cemy behind the ground!! Now that's a TRUE fan!!
I suppose the down side of moving to a new ground will be we will have to sweep up everyone's ashes and redistribute them wherever.
There all too modern nowadays. I like stadiums like they used to be where everyone was standing. Maybe if safe standing comes along ot might make a few stadiums a bit better.
If i had to choose one i think i would say Hillsbrough. I like their kop end it still has that old feeling to it.
Luton and Exeter ok too.

Every time I see that pic it blows my mind. I wonder how they organise away games. No coach needed at least!

It's only a famous park in Liverpool.
I didn't actually realise how close Anfield and Goodison were.

When they meet each other the away team used to just walk down the road although I think the players just arrive at the "away" ground these days
Dundee United relegated last season so no league games this season
Good photo that and it's very obvious which ground is Uniteds and why they are unofficially known as 'the Arabs'.
Surely you mean the home of slanty football?
