  maybe the Doc will kill the Master and then he will be the last of the timelords.

  No idea if this is true (though it does give you know who a reason for being you know where). It was posted on a AICN talkback.
  

  It will be revealed in the 2-part finale that the Master gave the Daleks the technology to take on the Timelords, in the hope they would wipe each other out while he hides at the end of time. He thought he would be the last man standing but the Doctor survived too. Also it is believed that Paul McGann has recorded some dialogue for either the Xmas special or Series 4.
