Seems that the BBC will be doing more for the Womens' Game.

    At least in England.
Now of only the BBC would show highlights over Easter for thishttp://www.eurohockey.org/
    Does Sky have live Hockey??

Good news re the women's football, usually a breath of fresh air compared with the play-acting, time-wasting nonsense that blights much of the men's game.

I'm not aware of any hockey on Sky Sports.

Just curious, again on back of Olympics. Saw over Easter it is last 16 of Men's European Hockey with three English teams. It mentions subject to tv coverage (possibly abroad).
Whilst England Hockey games have been on red button maybe BBC should run longer Sportsday at weekends, between BBC2 or 3 and News Channel. or red button and News Channel.
Say 6pm-6.30pm on red button with focus on minor sports like Women's Football. Hockey etc. Then the News Channel edition with the big stories.

It's refreshing to see the BBC getting behind something to do with sport.

Are they try to impress the FA so they can get the FA Cup back!?:D

    Probably not.
