Anyone booked London hotels through Hotels.com before? I've booked a hotel and i'm a little worried it's not real and i'll get there and there will be no room.

Can someone put my mind at ease please? :)

They are a genuine site but if you google "hotels.com reviews" you will see that there are complaints that they censor reviews/don't post negative reviews.

So research the hotel on other sites (tripadviser for instance) for genuine customer reviews rather than going by theirs.

Hotels.com are real. I've lost count of the number of times I've used them in the past year and only once had a problem with a booking, but that was down to the actual hotel rather than the website. They had the reservation but didn't have it recorded that I'd already paid. Easily sorted by reception though.
