Hi folks, OH and I will be in Belfast soon for a long weekend. Any recommendations of decent bars in the centre/Queens University area? FWIW we're both in our 40s so not looking for anywhere too lively :D

Thanks in advance. :)

Last time I was there on business I almost dropped dead from shock at the prices. Be prepared to pay through the nose for a basic round - but there are great bars on almost every street.

The Roost on Church Lane .... great little shop opposite too ;) ( shameless plug !)

The Crown is a must see and I love Whites Tavern. All in the city centre.

Filthy McNasty's has a rather impressive beer garden.

And Laverys has pretty decent pool playing facilities.
