There are too many charity telethons on British TV these days - which is even more stark when you consider how many people still don't have the disposable income to spend on anything, let alone to give to appeals like these.
children in need's total donations increase every year so someone somewhere is still donating regardless of economic situations
And what do we get? Studio crap and less than 5 minute of Gogglebox.

I don't mind a telefon but this is nothing but a con to get viewers by lying about what is on and when. They will rightfully be complaints and they will just get out of it by making out that as it's for charity, they can do anything they want.

If they want me to donate cash then I'll do that, I don't have to waste my time getting conned into watching this rubbish.
Well above all let's not forget the utter con trick that they have pulled and pissing off viewers.

For a great cause though, so I hope they raise a lot of money.
