I know the series is overkill on Gold but if like me you ignore those and not watched it for a while. You can really enjoy some of the jokes and lines again.

Some of my faves.

Man: It's Gone Midnight. Del: Well go back to bed then!

Rodney: You will have to shout louder than that del he's halway to germany Del: Denzil Nicht Byen Dem.

Uncle Albert: What did you buy that think for (Deep sea diving suit. Del: It was a suprise present for yopu so you could go down and visit all the ships that you sailed in.

Rodney: Shes 40 (woman hes going out with Del: 40 Shes even to old for me. Grandad: Well I'd have to think twice.

Del: Some people get wise men bearing gifts. We get a wally with a disease.

Del: Which way to Holland? Oil Rig Worker: It's over there.

Special mention goes to this scene though with Uncle Albert.

Del: Alright, so I might occasionally tell the odd porkie or two, but I'll tell you something I don't do. I don't go round pubs dressed in stockings and suspenders flashing me threepenny bits at geezers! do I Rodney?

Rodney: No, he's never done anything like that.

When they build their own nuclear shelter del says something like 'I could see my self as one of those war heroes like in the American war films', grandad says 'you have trouble fighting the inch wars'.

    Trig "Some soldiers"

And Trig with his broom . The same one he'd always had . So many handles and so many brushes?

From the feature length special 'The Class of 62.'

They all go back to Del's flat for drink and to remember the school days.

Del reminisces over the photos of the old school football team and cannot recall the name of the 'Italian boy.'

'We Boycie in goal, Chopper Harris in midfield, me up front. We had team spirit. We had camaraderie.'

Trigger: 'Was that the Italian Boy?'

'Take the Cap-ree Ghia, Raquel - show 'em how you've come up in the world!'.

We're big fans of Ford Capris in our house and so maybe that one doesn't tickle most people as much as it does me, but it's definitely my favourite line :)

    :D Yep, that's another.

Unfortunately it hardly ever appears on YouTube, and when it does, it doesn't last long before it's removed for some reason.
