I have noticed that ITV will be 60 next year and am wondering if itv are going to do anything to mark this milestone for commercial broadcasting in the UK. I know it took itv from 1955 to 1962 to be fully national in its coverage.

Repeat itv50 local shows and change the name as not much else has changed especially locally.

    Next yeah, huh?

STV Viewer will be along shortly with a mock schedule for the occasion :D

I did enjoy his Rio 2016 one yesterday with the random "Homes Under The Hammer" wedged in amongst all the Olympics coverage :D

Yes but he is now under the radar like Scottie McClue/Brenda McQueen and will need a new username to hide.

Maybe that should have been Olympic Stadiums Under the Hammer.;-)

No the only thing I am going to suggest is a ITV 60 Breakfast special with best bits from TVam, GMTV, Daybreak and GMB

I suppose it would be nice for Roland Rat and Timmy Mallett to get another four and a half minutes on the telly...

They should bump off an Archers character in honour of the anniversary.

    There's plenty to choose from

Best of Lorraine for an hour and a half? And it will probably be presented by Kate Garraway. Plus This Morning is on at 10.30 anyway.

The launch of ITV was eclipsed by the killing off of Grace Archer. The Beeb were up for the fight from the start
