Ferguso DVD player

Hi
I have a Ferguson LDVD200 personal DVD player which plays all sorts of formats, however I've loaded my holiday photos onto a CDROM in jpeg format, and it keeps saying "disk unknown". I've got other CD's with JPEGS that are OK - does anyone know if I need to do something to the disk to make it readable? It plays on PC's etc

Is the disc a CD-R or CD-RW? PC maybe able to read jpg's on both types, while maybe the Ferguson is limited to jpg files on CD-R only.
