I'm OK with it so far, about the same as Flaunt (except that Flaunt paly the same stuff over and over again - look, a girl in goggles is sexy once, not 134 times) but it's not as good as the dearly-missed Rapture was.

I'm quite sure the entire playlist WON'T be drawn from your list.
However as it's now "Clubland Classix" it seems obvious that a fair few will come from the Clubland back catalogue which explains why you've just seen a few vids from it.

Well, to be fair to you I haven't watched it all night. Just dipped in and out. (It is Torchwood night after all! LOL!)
So you may be right. But I do know that they won't be just playing AATW stuff. Obviously, as it's called Clubland TV, a lot of the content will reflect the kind of tracks that are on the albums & a lot of those are signed to AATW.

Back on topic for a sec - I've got to say I'm really impressed with what I've seen on Clubland TV tonight. Really bouncy and upbeat. It's put me in a good mood!

I'm getting an idea into the purpose of this channel now. It is not to promote an up-and-coming version of a new music channel, but to promote the back catalogue of a particular label and perhaps a few current hits. In other words, the channel promotes the label, rather than the channel promoting itself. They may as well call it AATW TV.
It's a brilliant channel if you like this kind of music.
Considering the number of Clubland albums that sell every year it would be very interesting to see what their ratings turn out to be and how it compares to the other music channels.

there's something really weird and nasty about the videos they have brought in from 'outside' AATW.
girls aloud - sound of the underground is on at the mo, and has that super super orange look, as if the colour has been turned up to maximum richness, and it looks really bad. same with the sunblock & pussycat dolls videos.

just seen 5 or 6 tracks in a row, and they are all off this list (from the AATW website). i don't think its a very good strategy for a music channel to try to establish itself against other stations, to limit itself to one record label's back catalogue.
there's only a few tracks that i'd quite happily watch on there (put them in bold), there's an awful lot of stale stuff there.
NB, on every web-based music station I have encountered, where figures have been available, Vocal Trance has always had the highest audience. Hint.
I'm quite sure the entire playlist WON'T be drawn from your list.
However as it's now "Clubland Classix" it seems obvious that a fair few will come from the Clubland back catalogue which explains why you've just seen a few vids from it.
you're right - the back catalogue on the AATW website that i have just put up from their website isn't a complete list.
its been 90% videos/artists from this list all day, maybe more than 90%.
a "fair few" is a massive misrepresentation, which you are probably well aware of.
So you may be right. But I do know that they won't be just playing AATW stuff. Obviously, as it's called Clubland TV, a lot of the content will reflect the kind of tracks that are on the albums & a lot of those are signed to AATW.
I enjoyed it. Bit of time slippage going on.
Back on topic for a sec - I've got to say I'm really impressed with what I've seen on Clubland TV tonight. Really bouncy and upbeat. It's put me in a good mood!
Loved watching So Real by Love Decade and the Gigi D'Agostino vid. Really good stuff you just wouldn't see anywhere else.
I'm hoping for a bit of Scooterage - not seen any so far.

I'm getting an idea into the purpose of this channel now. It is not to promote an up-and-coming version of a new music channel, but to promote the back catalogue of a particular label and perhaps a few current hits. In other words, the channel promotes the label, rather than the channel promoting itself. They may as well call it AATW TV.
It is a tactic which may work.
Considering the number of Clubland albums that sell every year it would be very interesting to see what their ratings turn out to be and how it compares to the other music channels.
1) The picture quality is dire:mad:
2) The sound (when there is any) isn't much better:mad:
3) It's wall to wall naff Cascada type cheese being played
4) The channel is nothing more than a cynical marketing ploy by AATW:mad:

This alone must be good enough reason for the channel to fail miserably:p
girls aloud - sound of the underground is on at the mo, and has that super super orange look, as if the colour has been turned up to maximum richness, and it looks really bad. same with the sunblock & pussycat dolls videos.
It makes a change to all BORING UK HOUSE music videos that ALL the look the same and sound the same.
Please add more Kate Ryan songs like : Désenchantée , Libertine & Mon Coeur Resiste Encore.

Please add more EUROPEAN stuff we dont need another MTV DANCE or FLAUNT what is full of OLD PRE 2001 DANCE .
It does it when loud beating music is playing and fast moving pictures you may find that it does this on other channels too.
It's free on satellite anyhow if a dish is no problem.
