It really is a brilliant game too, managed 6 hours on it this weekend and i haven't even touched the main game!
I stuck it in my basket at the weekend, but I just couldn't decide whether I really wanted it or not. Watched some video reviews this afternoon and decided I want it... and now I can't get it Hopefully they get some stock back in before the deal expires, but I won't hold my breath...
I know you can't ever second guess price drops but I paid £34 a week ago on release for POP and £20 for Pure 2 weeks ago (as a pressie), drives you mad !!!
Anyone seen any good deals for Madden 09 on PS3? Ive seen it at £30 on gamestation, just wondered if anyone had seen it cheaper elsewhere?! Its £50 on play :eek:
...been looking for Left 4 Dead for the 360 but can't find it below 39.99 and my local Sainsburys, Asda and Tesco don't stock it otherwise I'd use Nectar/Reward points :rolleyes:

GAME are doing Mario Kart on the Wii @ £24.99 as of tomorrow. I know because I work there. Need for Speed is down to £29.99 and Sonic Unleashed is £19.99 folks.
Don't expect it to be there for Xmas, I ordered dvd's from HMV last week and they still haven't turned up.
Ordered stuff from Amazon and Play and they're straight here. I wonder if HMV used Woolies distribution company, can anyone confirm/deny this?

In my experience HMV take years to post things.. it's ridiculously ad-hoc.. everything I've ever ordered I've had to chase up.. other than when I ordered an xbox package, everything was in stock, I checked out, then part of the package wasn't in stock but one of the games had been dispatched.. so I then had a right arse on cancelling the remaining items and sending the shipped game back and claiming the cost of returning it.. that I still haven't got back.. it's pennies but it's the principle..
It gets 6.3 on IGN, but that is just due to it being an old re-worked game that many know and will therefore bore easily of and the dodgey camera control.

EDIT: actually looks like its maybe OOS now. oh well.
As for online shopping, I can't be bothered setting up a debit account so I rely on the High Street for bargains or give my uncle cash if I want something online. But seeing that the game's for him...that'll spoil the surprise.
