There seems to be a problem with the address bar on IE. A few hours ago, when right clicking on the page, it would bring the black bar at the bottom with the recent pages and address bar, now, theres nothing so navigating is very difficult.

Any idea why this has happened? It probably something really simple but I don't know what I have done

It's an app. Try the desktop browser.

Open the Browser, then swipe in from right hand side and tap on 'Settings' then tap 'options'. You can set it to always show the the address bar and tabs :)

If you are not on a touch screen I advise you to do the following.
    • Bring up the charms bar on the right hand side of the screen by moving your mouse to the top right hand corner.
    • Click on the Search Charm.
    • Type in the Search box: Control Panel.
    • Launch Control Panel and ensure it is set to "View by large icons".
    • Open Internet Options.
    • Select the Programs tab.
    • Tick open Internet Explorer items on the desktop.
    • From the drop down menu above, select Always on Internet Explorer on the Desktop.

This will turn off the touch enabled version of Internet Explorer and should give you a nicer experience on a desktop.
