EMMERDALE 7000th episode 17th October 2014

Just wondering as Emmerdale's 7000th episode is only a few weeks away (an incidentally their 42nd anniversary) if this landmark will be celebrated as nothing has been reported and I cant see the current storylines going anywhere fast.

    Funny how that worked out! Looks as though the 16th and 17th should be pretty epic.

    There is the whole Charity thing...I think that will be the BIG explosive storyline for this years anniversary ...or maybe Roberts Return?

    Maybe they could show Bob's twins as part of the celebrations. When was the last time we actually saw them?

    Amazing that it took 29 years to get to 3000 and then only another 13 to get to 7000, well done!

    There must be something lucky for Emmerdale surrounding the 17th. The 6000th episode was on 17th August 2011, and now the 7000th will be on 17th October 2014.

    Yes, I remember confirming my dislike of Stuart Blackburn on the 6000th episode. After months of Emmerdale going downhill, it was the last episode I watched for a while!
