With a decision about to be made about Stacey's appeal, Whitney fears that her own relationship with Lily will be affected if Stacey is released. Soon afterwards, an excited Stacey returns home but her mood sours when Lily reacts nervously to her arrival. Feeling overwhelmed, Stacey rushes out of the house and keeps her distance, until Kat tracks her down and urges her not to give up.
Later, Stacey returns and reconciles with Lily, who has been consoled by Whitney. However, it's clear that the trouble isn't over as Lily suddenly starts asking questions about her dad. Stacey is angry to realise that Whitney has told Lily about Ryan. She responds by telling Whitney that she can't see Lily anymore and kicking her out of the house.
Meanwhile, when Cindy and the baby return from hospital, TJ and Terry pay a visit. Their first attempt is blocked when Sharon and Phil ask them to leave out of concern for Cindy, but TJ later arrives again. Unfortunately, TJ becomes unsettled by the baby and rushes out. Terry urges his son to take his responsibilities more seriously, but TJ insists that there is no point as they are moving to Milton Keynes. When Bianca overhears, she is hurt by this surprising news.
Elsewhere, Carol returns home following some time recuperating at Sonia's house. She admits to Dot that she hasn't been to her final hospital appointment because she is scared of the outcome. When Charlie stumbles upon the scene and sees that Dot is upset, he snaps at Carol as he fears that she has revealed his secret. However, Charlie soon realises that he got it wrong.

Stacey feels guilty after her argument with Whitney. At the same time, Whitney seeks comfort from Lee but is upset further when both he and Carol appear oblivious to her sadness.
At the same time, Kat and Alfie continue to discuss names for the twins. After making a decision, Alfie heads off to the registry office to make it official. Alfie also wants to get married to Kat, but is upset when he is told that they can't do it straight away.
Later, Stacey apologises to Whitney and assures her that she'll always be allowed to have contact with Lily. As the day continues, Stacey gets a surprise party to celebrate her release, but Alfie can't hide his concern when Stacey asks if she can stay with him and Kat. When Stacey finds council letters revealing that they're about to be evicted, the reason for Alfie's worry becomes clear…
Meanwhile, Terry is relieved when he sees TJ holding his daughter, but the teenager still seems uneasy when he reveals that he doesn't want to be a father. Later at Stacey's party, Bianca announces to Alfie that Terry is leaving. Terry storms out of the celebration in frustration over Bianca's indiscreet behaviour, but when she catches up with him, he tells her that he loves her. They share a passionate kiss before heading back to Terry's flat.
Elsewhere, Charlie apologises to Carol for his behaviour yesterday, but when he promises to do anything to earn her trust, she asks him to prove his story by having a DNA test.

Carol has her final hospital appointment today, so she distracts herself from her worries by meeting Charlie for his DNA test. When Dot catches them, Charlie is forced to explain what Carol has requested. Although Dot is upset, she agrees to go along with it.
Later, Carol heads to the hospital but doesn't get the comfort she needs from the hospital reverend. However, things improve when Bianca and Sonia arrive as a surprise. What will Carol's news be?
Meanwhile, Terry reminds Bianca that she didn't tell him she felt the same way about him. Bianca has to decide where her priorities lie, but what will she choose to do?
Elsewhere, Stacey forces Alfie to come clean to Kat about their financial problems. Alfie promises to go back to work on the market, but Aleks refuses to change his mind about banning him. When Alfie loses his temper, Mick suggests a different plan - Alfie should sell his beloved car to boost his finances.
Also today, Stacey has an impressive trial shift at Blades but Dean later tells her that he has no vacancies. After more setbacks for Stacey, Max offers her a job at the car lot.

Phil seeks answers after spotting Sharon with Marcus Christie. He later takes his frustration out at The Arches and when Shirley tries to calm him down, he tells her that Sharon has been stealing from him. Shirley encourages him to cool down before he takes any action.
Feeling bad for Phil, Shirley offers to help him. The former couple then end up passionately kissing and tearing each other's clothes off!
Meanwhile, Sharon and Linda have a drinking session together. As they chat, Sharon reveals that she has decided to forgive Phil, while Linda admits that Dean recently tried to kiss her. Unfortunately, tensions rise when Sharon suggests to Linda that she is not completely innocent in the situation with Dean. As they argue, Mick asks Nancy to take Sharon home. When Nancy does so, she is left horrified as Sharon reveals Linda's secret.

Meanwhile, Linda lies to Mick about the reason for her argument with Sharon. Nancy's hostility towards Linda and Dean is obvious after what Sharon told her. When Mick notices this, he tries to talk to Nancy. Later, when Nancy spots Linda and Dean spending time together, she decides to confront them.
Elsewhere, Tina organises a surprise birthday celebration for Stan. Cora arrives with a peace offering, but Aunt Babe makes her feel unwelcome. Would be great if Grant turned up, that would be the shock of all shocks the biggest soap return in a long time and if it was done without anyone knowing it would be amazing but i can't see it happening somehow. If we are lucky Peggy might make a surprise return which would still be pretty awesome but i think it will be just Ronnie and Aunt Sal.

I did think the wording was odd as the only relative for Sharon would be Denny, rest would be Phil's family, I would be surprised if there was a return.

She also wrote an episode of the latest series of Call the Midwife, coincidentally (or maybe not) the one starring Lacey Turner.
Ooh I hadn't thought of that! So is this a BBQ for the whole square?
With a decision about to be made about Stacey's appeal, Whitney fears that her own relationship with Lily will be affected if Stacey is released. Soon afterwards, an excited Stacey returns home but her mood sours when Lily reacts nervously to her arrival. Feeling overwhelmed, Stacey rushes out of the house and keeps her distance, until Kat tracks her down and urges her not to give up.
Later, Stacey returns and reconciles with Lily, who has been consoled by Whitney. However, it's clear that the trouble isn't over as Lily suddenly starts asking questions about her dad. Stacey is angry to realise that Whitney has told Lily about Ryan. She responds by telling Whitney that she can't see Lily anymore and kicking her out of the house.
Meanwhile, when Cindy and the baby return from hospital, TJ and Terry pay a visit. Their first attempt is blocked when Sharon and Phil ask them to leave out of concern for Cindy, but TJ later arrives again. Unfortunately, TJ becomes unsettled by the baby and rushes out. Terry urges his son to take his responsibilities more seriously, but TJ insists that there is no point as they are moving to Milton Keynes. When Bianca overhears, she is hurt by this surprising news.
Elsewhere, Carol returns home following some time recuperating at Sonia's house. She admits to Dot that she hasn't been to her final hospital appointment because she is scared of the outcome. When Charlie stumbles upon the scene and sees that Dot is upset, he snaps at Carol as he fears that she has revealed his secret. However, Charlie soon realises that he got it wrong.

Stacey feels guilty after her argument with Whitney. At the same time, Whitney seeks comfort from Lee but is upset further when both he and Carol appear oblivious to her sadness.
At the same time, Kat and Alfie continue to discuss names for the twins. After making a decision, Alfie heads off to the registry office to make it official. Alfie also wants to get married to Kat, but is upset when he is told that they can't do it straight away.
Later, Stacey apologises to Whitney and assures her that she'll always be allowed to have contact with Lily. As the day continues, Stacey gets a surprise party to celebrate her release, but Alfie can't hide his concern when Stacey asks if she can stay with him and Kat. When Stacey finds council letters revealing that they're about to be evicted, the reason for Alfie's worry becomes clear…
Meanwhile, Terry is relieved when he sees TJ holding his daughter, but the teenager still seems uneasy when he reveals that he doesn't want to be a father. Later at Stacey's party, Bianca announces to Alfie that Terry is leaving. Terry storms out of the celebration in frustration over Bianca's indiscreet behaviour, but when she catches up with him, he tells her that he loves her. They share a passionate kiss before heading back to Terry's flat.
Elsewhere, Charlie apologises to Carol for his behaviour yesterday, but when he promises to do anything to earn her trust, she asks him to prove his story by having a DNA test.

Carol has her final hospital appointment today, so she distracts herself from her worries by meeting Charlie for his DNA test. When Dot catches them, Charlie is forced to explain what Carol has requested. Although Dot is upset, she agrees to go along with it.
Later, Carol heads to the hospital but doesn't get the comfort she needs from the hospital reverend. However, things improve when Bianca and Sonia arrive as a surprise. What will Carol's news be?
Meanwhile, Terry reminds Bianca that she didn't tell him she felt the same way about him. Bianca has to decide where her priorities lie, but what will she choose to do?
Elsewhere, Stacey forces Alfie to come clean to Kat about their financial problems. Alfie promises to go back to work on the market, but Aleks refuses to change his mind about banning him. When Alfie loses his temper, Mick suggests a different plan - Alfie should sell his beloved car to boost his finances.
Also today, Stacey has an impressive trial shift at Blades but Dean later tells her that he has no vacancies. After more setbacks for Stacey, Max offers her a job at the car lot.
Lastly, Sonia and Tina finally bury the hatchet and go back to being friends.

Alfie's latest attempts to boost his finances prove unsuccessful. He can't bear to tell Kat that things haven't improved, so he lies that he has got a loan from the bank.
Later, Alfie helps out at Mick's Queen Vic barbecue and overhears something which makes him think of a way out of his mess. Will Alfie resort to desperate measures?
Meanwhile, Jay is concerned to learn that Summerhayes has visited the Beales with a new lead. As a result, he becomes desperate to leave for Bolton with Abi. Later, Jay is touched when Phil gives him a positive reference for his next job. Jay returns the sentiment with some football tickets, but the happy atmosphere is ruined when Walford police arrive at the BBQ. What do they want?
Elsewhere, Carol delivers the results of the DNA test to Charlie and Dot.

When Sharon sees how vulnerable Phil is, she starts to have second thoughts about her plan to scam him. She tells Marcus how she's feeling, but it may already be too late as Phil spots them together and is instantly suspicious.
Meanwhile, Mick is relieved when Linda returns to the Square and Stan convinces him to fight for their relationship. However, Mick is hurt when he discovers that Linda has been lying about her mum needing her help. Linda rejects Mick's apology when he tries to make things right, leaving him devastated. Fortunately, after a heart-to-heart with Sharon about their troubled relationships, Linda realises that she is lucky to have Mick and reconciles with him.
Elsewhere, Bianca and Terry inform Kat and Alfie that they are moving away from Walford. In private, Alfie tells Terry about how bad his financial problems have become. Terry tries his best to help Alfie, but when he is unsuccessful, Alfie is forced to come clean to Kat.
Also today, Whitney tells Lee that she is moving. They both misinterpret the situation and believe they are dumping each other - but when Lee later visits Whitney with a jewellery box, could it be an engagement ring?
Finally, Lauren doesn't seem pleased about Max hiring Stacey at the car lot. Stacey tries to make peace with Lauren, but also leaves Lauren intrigued when she seems nervous about the whereabouts of the key she gave her to look after…

Phil seeks answers after spotting Sharon with Marcus Christie. He later takes his frustration out at The Arches and when Shirley tries to calm him down, he tells her that Sharon has been stealing from him. Shirley encourages him to cool down before he takes any action.
Feeling bad for Phil, Shirley offers to help him. The former couple then end up passionately kissing and tearing each other's clothes off!
Meanwhile, Sharon and Linda have a drinking session together. As they chat, Sharon reveals that she has decided to forgive Phil, while Linda admits that Dean recently tried to kiss her. Unfortunately, tensions rise when Sharon suggests to Linda that she is not completely innocent in the situation with Dean. As they argue, Mick asks Nancy to take Sharon home. When Nancy does so, she is left horrified as Sharon reveals Linda's secret.
Elsewhere, Kat is furious with Alfie when he tells her about the full extent of their financial worries. He apologises and promises to be honest from now on, but that doesn't last for long…
Also today, Stan challenges Babe on her suspicious behaviour.

It's the morning after for Shirley and Phil, but Shirley gets upset when her old flame ignores her in the Square. She decides to confront him, which prompts Phil to admit that he has no intention of leaving Sharon for her because he loves her.
Later, Phil becomes confused about Sharon's intentions when she buys him a wedding gift. Phil declares that he can't wait to marry her, but is he up to something?
Meanwhile, Linda lies to Mick about the reason for her argument with Sharon. Nancy's hostility towards Linda and Dean is obvious after what Sharon told her. When Mick notices this, he tries to talk to Nancy. Later, when Nancy spots Linda and Dean spending time together, she decides to confront them.
Elsewhere, Tina organises a surprise birthday celebration for Stan. Cora arrives with a peace offering, but Aunt Babe makes her feel unwelcome. Secretly pleased with the party and Cora's presence, Stan decides to get his revenge on Aunt Babe. Later, Tina reveals to the Carters that Tosh is pregnant - even though Tosh wanted to keep it a secret.

Alfie tries but ultimately fails to gets Aleks on side.

Would be great if Grant turned up, that would be the shock of all shocks the biggest soap return in a long time and if it was done without anyone knowing it would be amazing but i can't see it happening somehow. If we are lucky Peggy might make a surprise return which would still be pretty awesome but i think it will be just Ronnie and Aunt Sal.
I did think the wording was odd as the only relative for Sharon would be Denny, rest would be Phil's family, I would be surprised if there was a return.
That would be awesome but I don't think they could keep that under raps!

Alfie's cash-flow problems come to a head when the idea of flogging Mo's hairspray falls flat. Feeling cornered, he opts for the last resort - set the Slaters's house on fire and claim on the insurance.
Wanting to escape Sharon's hen do, Lauren and Dean head to Max's for a party, but there's still tension between Lauren and Nancy.

Phil's in for a shock when a familiar face returns to the square, While Dean has a surprising proposition for Tosh.
When Jay collects his belongings from the Mitchell house, Phil persuades him to stay for the wedding. Soon afterwards, Shirley's good mood starts to arouse confusion and suspicion, especially when she takes the time to compliment Sharon.
Later, Shirley arranges Phil's stag party, which will include free drinks and food at The Vic. Before Phil can head over to the pub, Shirley turns up at his place hoping for another hook-up before his big night, but they're interrupted when Jay arrives. Shirley is forced to hide as Jay takes Phil over to The Arches and reveals a huge surprise - Ben is there waiting for him…
Meanwhile, Charlie bonds with Roxy when he helps her with the favours she is doing for Sharon's wedding. Later, Roxy is left disappointed when Aleks backs out of going to the wedding with her and Sharon chooses Linda to be her matron of honour.
Elsewhere, things are looking up for Lauren when Dean invites her to be his guest at the wedding.
Also today, Abi fears that Jay doesn't really want to move to Bolton with her.

The atmosphere is awkward at The Arches as Phil struggles to reconnect with Ben following his surprise reappearance. Ben shocks Phil by admitting that he has come back to make sure that he doesn't marry Sharon, as he thinks his dad should be with Shirley instead. Phil decides to tell Ben about his secret plan.
Later, Ben joins Phil for his stag party at The Vic, but he doesn't get a warm welcome. Mick tries to keep Shirley unaware of Ben's return, but his efforts fail and when she spots Ben, she is quick to lash out. Mick orders Ben out of the pub, but Phil stays loyal to his son by leaving too.
Back at the Mitchell house, Sharon insists that Ben can't stay as she fears for Denny's safety, but Phil overrules her and it seems that Ben will be staying until the wedding.
Meanwhile, as Shirley gets involved in a war of words with Sharon at The Albert, Sharon loses patience and throws red wine at her. Unfortunately, Sharon's fury also leads to her accidentally hitting Linda.
Elsewhere, Dean promises Tosh that he will talk to Tina for her. Later, Dean shares a heartfelt moment with Shirley after he gets involved in a confrontation with Ben. After getting drunk, Dean has a surprising proposal for Tosh - he could help her have a baby.

Aunt Babe gives Shirley food for thought by pointing out that her anger towards Ben could ruin her plan with Phil. Sharon is also still uneasy around Ben and continues to give him a hard time at the Mitchell house. When Roxy pays a visit and is excited to see Ben, she is quick to remind Sharon that Phil would always choose Ben over her.
Linda also tells Sharon that she should give Ben a chance, so she finally relents and tries to build some bridges. She asks him if they can start again following the recent tension and takes him to The Vic, where she makes a speech welcoming Ben into the family. Phil is clearly pleased but Shirley is outraged.
Meanwhile, Denny tries to help his mum and packs Sharon's make-up bag into her overnight bag to stay at The Vic. As the make-up bag contains the gun, could there be trouble ahead?

The preparations for Sharon's wedding are well under way at The Vic, but there's a hitch when she doesn't like her hairstyle.
At the same time, Phil is stunned when Ben tells him that he should marry Sharon after all. Phil is given even more food for thought when Aunt Sal and Ronnie arrive, disapproving of the wedding and making it clear that the whole family is against the marriage.
Later, Ronnie has some firm words for Phil - if he loves Sharon he should marry her, but if he doesn't, he should walk away. When Phil heads to see Sharon, he is stopped by Shirley who issues him with an ultimatum of her own, telling him that it's now or never. Who will Phil choose?
