Staging: The stage has a huge Christmas tree in the centre with a choir either side of it and there are some presents around the bottom of it. As the song starts, the choir begins and from the ceiling a platform is lifted down with Johnny on. The platform reaches the bottom as Johnny reaches the chorus of the song. Johnny is wearing a sliver glitter jacket with a black shirt and black trousers. He works the stage through the first 2 verses and choruses – with the choir joining in with the backing.
As it gets to the trumpet section, Johnny goes to the tree and unwraps a present – it’s a picture of him and Gary Barlow, he smiles and with the picture gets back onto the platform which begins to rise. As he rises and begins to sing, it begins to snow – getting heavier as the song progresses towards the end.
As Johnny is above the stage, a line of children go onto the stage and join in singing with the choir until the end. Johnny is raised up to the sky as the snow continues to fall onto the stage.
Next up, singing my personal favourite Christmas song, it's Rebecca Ferguson!
"A kaleidoscope of white light fills the stage as Rebecca walks up to a microphone stand at the centre. The light moves gently downwards throughout the song, mimicking snow."
Rebecca will be wearing this dress which I feel reflects her personal style and the occasion.
Sorry I haven't been here! Got held up bigtime. Hope you're all well on this chilly Christmas Eve Eve. Thanks for all the James praise Nearly every choice was fantastic and it was tough to vote.
