New Hollyoaks EP announces three departures
New Hollyoaks executive producer Josh Clark has today confirmed that James Atherton, Abi Phillips and Jenifer Metcalfe will all bow out from the show before the end of 2013.
Clark said he wished the trio all the best for the future and has promised that the three will all have considerably memorable exits.
Meanwhile, after it was originally announced that Gillian Taylforth's character Sandy Roscoe would be the mother of five boys, the number has been reduced to three. Arthur Darvill, Daniel Mays and Jack O'Connell will portray Danny, Robbie and Sam Roscoe, while Phillip Martin Brown steps into the role of their father William.

It has been confirmed that on the day of Will Savage and Texas Longford's wedding, the reception venue will be devastated by a huge fire, leading to at least three deaths.
While it has been confirmed that Texas will be killed on her wedding day, the other deaths remain a secret, but with Will also confirmed to be leaving, could he perish? Or could be charged for his wife's murder?
The scenes air at the beginning of March.
As Walker decides its time to get revenge on Brendan for good, he is unaware that before she left, Mitzee made Brendan aware that Walker was back. As Walker obliviously plans his enemy's downfall, Brendan holds Kevin by the throat in Chez Chez. As Kevin struggles, Brendan decides enough is enough and makes a final threat-if Kevin goes back to Walker, Brendan will kill him. A shaken Kevin is left terrified as Brendan throws him out of the club. Meanwhile, Ste is leaving the Deli when he spots Kevin. As he tries to avoid him, Kevin suddenly realises that him and Walker can bring Brendan to his knees by using Ste. Striking up a conversation with him, Kevin decides to tell Walker that Brendan knows he is back, even if it means losing his life...
Will begins to get more twisted in his actions, still making Texas believe she is responsible for his paralysis, He tells her that there is more to the two of them than just friendship and attempts to make a move on her. A shocked Texas pulls back, but when Will gets threatening, Texas decides to give Will what he wants. However, as Will gets more demented in his ramblings about love, Texas feels more scared of him than ever before, knowing he could bring her down if word got out about his fall.
Also today, Patrick decides to bite the bullet and asks John Paul out for a drink. George can't help but feel jealous as he is developing something of a crush on John Paul. As the duo head out for their drink, Patrick can't help but feel somewhat ashamed that he is inviting John Paul for a drink and after a while makes his excuses and leaves. As John Paul drowns his sorrows, George joins him, and as the two get drunk, plants a kiss on John Paul! Will JP respond?
