He has the money, why not?

I guess if he is busy doing gigs and filming it fits in nicely.

Meh - if you ate out at a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner you could easily spend that much in a day.

Its his money. Surely the fact that he's spending it (and therefore generating jobs, tax revenue etc) is better than it just sitting in the bank.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm fairly sure he can afford it. No different to your average person spending £5 a day on Slimfast stuff.

God I wish I could justify that diet...sounds amazing! Maybe if the rest of my family didn't eat...

He can afford it, it fits in with his lifestyle and it means he's eating a healthy diet. I fail to see the problem with this.

Even if I had his money I don't think I would spend sixty quid a day on food.

I could but choose to do it myself. :D

It's SO easy and cheap to eat healthy. :p

He's just selling the company. Cheap advertising.

But alas the folk who really need a healthy diet can't afford such a delivered to your door gimick.

They don't need to. As you say, 'It's SO easy and cheap to eat healthy.' I'm not sure if the emoticon means you were being sarcastic, but it's true.

It is only like people buying expensive modern art. It is cheap and easy to do it yourself.

Fact is you might not have time and just might not be very good at it.

If you have the money best to pay for something you enjoy and you find half decent.

I see it as no different to hiring a live-in chef really, at least he's attempting to lose weight around his schedule/lifestyle.

Well - to be fair, much of the cost of these meals will be taken up by the manpower required to make and deliver them and the investment in equipment made by the catering company.

The amount and cost of ingredients is probably no more than any other persons meals on DS.

To my mind - what he is doing is no different to eating in a restaurant (meal prepared by somebody else - and delivered to you) - only his restaurant is at home.

No different to an average office worker paying someone to clean their house.

A rich person having a personal chef or bespoke food items prepared for them is completely fine in my book.

= more people in employment - surely a good thing in this climate.

why shouldn't he? It's either spend money he's earned to try and lose weight or add him into the "should the obese pay more for health care?" thread. Damned if he does......

I would do exactly the same if I had the money. Good on him

Exactly. Why should anyone else care how he spends his money?

So it's ready meals for rich people? :o I don't really care how he spends his money, but it sort of ruins illusions I have about the rich to see them having prepared meals delivered. How long until it's revealed the venison is actually horse? :D

I agree, who cares what he spends his money on, not even news.

Its is ironic that we have so many threads criticising people for being overweight - then when somebody is shown to be trying to do something about it - they get criticised too.

You truly cannot win on DS.
