Bowie did something for every generation pre 90s imo. Spiders from Mars with Mick Ronson on guitar is THE definitive album for me, everything that followed was a bonus.
I'm actually of the Scary Monsters generation.

Was he Ziggy then?.I just remember the opening lines to that song.
I liked the Ashes to ashes video.Steve Strange (from Visage) was at the front on the beach walk if I remember correctly.

I refuse to believe Mein Führer would wear a baseball cap.

Yes and yes. Steve strange was a w@nker by all accounts, well according to Boy George.

Bowie was keen to put Ziggy down soon after that fantastic album and ditched Mick Ronson too, shame that. But at least he went on to do some good stuff.

    body shape looks too stocky

hitler was also in really poor health in 1945 and even if he did escape he wouldnt have lived for very long afterwards

    What a load of shite.

He's living in an Antarctic batcave with his UFO fleet and cyborg army.

    Pff. Amateurs.

    :D

That reminded me of a show on the History channel recently basically saying Hitler was involved in Aliens..

The Boys From Brazil is one of my favourite films.

I feel sorry for cats who look like Hitler.

If he really had escaped to South America, does anybody really imagine he'd have chosen a name like "Adolf Leipzig" ? It's just bollocks.

He almost certainly had Parkinson's Disease, as evidenced by the constant tremor in one hand, which he kept hidden behind his back.

Plus numerous other ailments. As you say, he wouldn't have lived for very long anyway.

My favourite bit is "Simoni Renee Guerreiro Dias, who wrote Hitler in Brazil - His Life and His Death, claims he was in the area hunting for buried treasure using a map given to him by friends within the Vatican".

    Dear Herr Lucas,

I have a splendid idea for a motion picture for your consideration. It involves Hitler and a race to find the Ark of the Covenant. You should give thought to an American character who can be a suitable foil for the brave Nazis, and I would very much like it, if we find the Ark at the end of the movie, and are victorious.

    Yours

    Adolf Leipzig
    Brazil
