Smokers, why do you stand right outside the shop doors?

Stand somewhere further away as you stink and I don't want smoke in my face walking in\out a shop!

    Because that's where the shops put the ashtray to discard of ends when I'm done.

    To annoy the non smokers who wanted smoking indoors banned. You can't have it both ways, so stop moaning, either go to another shop or wait until we have finished.

    It's usually workers who stand in the doorway smoking.

    Do what I did, complain to the shop, then you will not see them again :)

    I don't smoke, and I'm embarrassed for passer-bys that flap their hands dramatically when there's a smoker nearby. I even spotted one choking, gasping and waving her arms around madly in front of a smoker who was at least four feet away. What's the point of doing this? So ridiculous.

    Smoking outside shops is nothing new, smoking was prevented in shops long before the smoking ban. So if people smoke whilst out then it will be oustide somewhere.

    It is of no suprise that this annoys you as if I recall correctly from other threads you think all smokers are "mentally ill" and object to paying for dental treatment because the NHS treats "smokers and alcoholics" with your tax money.

    What a stupid thing to complain about, such a selfish self centred full of importance attitude.

    Besides that I highly doubt it's the staff at that shop, if there like me they go and smoke outside someone else's shop ;-)

    Fact - Smokers smell like an old ashtray.

    If you don't like this, then stop smoking and the smell will eventually go away.
