    Hot pyramids are nothing special.

I get one every time I make a cup of tea.

Never mind the anomalous hotpots. I can clearly see a ghostly humanoid apparition revealed by the thermal imaging, which these so-called scientists have obviously missed.

It's about halfway up, and about a third from the left. Possibly an entombed alien construction worker?

Actually this explains the location of the Sphinx.

Cats love to snuggle up near something warm.

I am disquieted by the raft of facetious / abstemious comments.

TRY looking at the link - its from the BBC for the love of Mike!

Why make fun of scientific discoveries?

We should all try again later, when we are drunk.

    Snake Plissken did that.

I thought he was dead? Anyways, the ancients gave us the 'Baghdad batteries' and perhaps they also discovered this-

although if they're still going, it may suggest a.. large source. And possibly source of tomb curse tales..

Some of the blocks on the outside of the pyramids are hotter than the other blocks.

We should see if we can sail our raft of facetious / abstemious comments from Peru to the Tuamotu Archipelago.

Jerry built. If you do the same for a typical British house you'll find similar, its where the builders used something cheaper to fill a gap.

Or the mice. Douglas Adams tried to tell us the truth about them, but did we listen? The pyramids are an even more amazing achievment if you knew they were built as secure vaults by the mice.

Stargate - it has to be.

Also do you think, given the chance, ISIS would blow them up?

I did look and all they are suggesting is that there may be more chambers or entrances than previously thought, or someone used some cheaper materials when a delivery was a bit short, maybe someone made a handy escape route large enough for them to drag out all the loot. No magic required.

...or a possible Hitler regeneration pod. Other possibilities include red indians, ghosts, dinosaurs, moonbases, werewolves, aliens, timemachines, short trousers, conkers and catapults.

.. and Vikings. Those chaps got around a bit. Could be an ancient Viking booze stash, still slowly fermenting. But best not to interfere lest berserkers appear via the stargate to reclaim their brew.
