Except I have no idea what I'm in the mood for. I'll watch almost anything though.

Sorry to be vague. I just want to watch something good.

Last three movies I have seen, were Human Centipede (I don't know why I did but gosh do I want that time back), Evil Dead (the redo) which was meh and The Employer (which makes my top 10 worst list).

Head back to your download site and watch Fast And Furious 6!

It's probably shite but HD copies appeared today!

    I recommend Indochine.

French/Chinese set in the 30s starring Catherine Deneneve.

Love story come war story and the leading man is breathtakingly gorgeous.

If you like horror, No One Lives is worth a watch.

If you can get hold of a copy, I recommend Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons.

It's in Chinese with subtitles, but it has many of the qualities you listed.

King of the Ants - awesome little known thriller that's a cross between the elephant man and death wish

Pan's Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno) is a brilliant fantasy with elements of horror, but it's in Spanish with subtitles, and it might be a bit too "arty". That said, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, regardless of their film preferences...

Thanks everyone, really appreciate the suggestions. I've noted one or two down for the future.

I spent more time trying to sort out a broadband issue last night that I'd anticipated so I didn't have time to watch anything!
