Who was your best(fav) character(s) in a soap 2010
mine are JACK DUCKWORTH AND TYRONE working together .

the pairing of Paddy and Aaron in Emmerdale. brilliant father/son relationship, the love and support they have for each other, the banter...its genius.

Maise and Nathan wylde. Especially impressed by the acting of Maise. Nathan became a great baddie but sadly had a disgraceful and unjust end

They are not father and son , neither do they try to be , Love Paddy but personally am getting tired of Aaron and the hysteria surrounding him , when he first arrived he was great now I wish he would hurry up and pack his bags , so annoying .

Corrie: Carla Connor, such a great character and I've found myself loving Peter Barlow this year

Eastenders - For me my favorite character as been Kim or Kat. Both are (IMO) very good comady characters who have kept me watching despite terrible form.

Coronation Street - I've always loved them but after this year Leanne and Peter are still my favorite Corrie characters. Both are amazing actors and have great onscreen chemistry. I have also been impressed with Mikey North this year too.

Hollyoaks - Jacqui McQueen, my favorite McQueen and favorite character. Plus Claire Cooper is one heck of an actress given the right material.

I know they aren't father and son :rolleyes:

i said they have a father/son relationship. hence the quotes:

Paddy: "You're like a son to me, I love you"

Aaron: "You're better than my dad"

to me, that shows blood doesnt mean a thing, and Aaron will always think of Paddy as more of a father to him than his real one has or ever will be.

The only reason there has been hype surrounding Danny/Aaron is because he has had one of THE biggest storyline in soap this year, and he played it fantastically well.

fantastic additions this year. (even though the three girls annoyed me when they first started, they've really improved) Looking forward to more storylines from them all.

Sophie Webster, Brooke Vincent has proven that she can really act well with this storyline. The acting has been terrific in the coming out process and throughout the whole storyline completely.

I know what you mean't but they are not even like father and son they are just mates , at the time that was said they must have been living together about 3 or 4 months , It takes years to become a dad to someone unless its from birth , I really don't believe they are like father and son.

For a start I don't know many dads who is scared of there sons as Paddy is with Aaron.
