Think of it like Eurovision, where each person ranks the characters from highest to lowest. The highest gets 10 and the lowest gets 1 (at least that's how I think it works).

So unfortunately for Steve, David, Leanne, Rita and Beth they just fall at the final hurdle and miss out on a place in the top 10! Voting was incredibly close and probably the closest it's ever been at this point before, I won't be revealing the placings of the top 10 until results to keep up suspense! The top 5 changed loads and it was very hard for me to tell what it would end up being. Steve and the 10th place character swapped around quite a bit towards the end, however unluckily for Steve he fell short at the end. David and Leanne were both characters who appeared to have comfortable positions in the top 10 but slipped towards the end and just missed out. Rita and Beth were the only clear members of the bottom 5, although it was incredibly close between the two of them with Rita only just overtaking Beth with the last vote!

Cheers for the PM as i hadn't noticed this was up. Disappointed David hasn't mad final 10 as I think he is a great character. Also, unfortunately Leanne had a very poor year. Over the years I think she has been a brilliant character but lately been turned into a resentful character - I want the fesity Leanne back.
