What when some countries are dropping out more and more babies they know damn well they can't afford to feed?

Don't think its taking the piss on purpose but understand your cynicism as I have often wondered what the reason was for bringing children into the world in order for them to die of starvation or have a crap life by any standards....I've heard the arguments about needing to have 10 children hoping that 5 survive to keep the family supported but surely that isn't the reason......the weird thing is that it seems like the best thing we could do for these countries is to introduce birth control as an idea but I suppose religion might be behind it
