So Poundland has some awesome DVDs in atm. Bargain for a quid.

Today I picked Up Scum & Monster, and there are these too..

• The Bride of Chucky
• Chopper
• Donnie Darko
• Express Bongo – Cliff Richard
• Human Traffic
• Inside the Osmonds
• Kickboxer
• Monster
• Rock n Roll High School
• Scum
• Secretary
• Super Size Me
• The Hilside strangler
• The Machinist
• Transformers the Movie
• What’s Eating Gilbert Grape
• Wonderland

Next I'm gonna get The Machinist, Chopper, & Secretary.

If you haven't seen or don't own half of these you should pick them up. Shit like Donnie Darko & Human Traffic is classic.. & for a quid you can't go wrong.

Not sure if it's last years or the kiddies cartoon version.

Cases are fine yeah, same as HMV/Virgin copies or whatever.

I missed Monster last night on TV oddly enough, so I was glad to have picked it up today.

Most of their stock is still garage forecourt DVDs, but they have a good bunch of films in the mix too.

Scum. One of Ray Winstones finest.

You know the phrase 'I'm the f*cking daddy 'round here'?

Yeah I saw it on TV once.

If it's the once I'm thinking of it was brilliant.

Shy girl, gets job as secretary, gets in s&m and stuff with her boss?

We have 2 poundlands in Glasgow city centre.I usually try & pop in once a week to see what they have in their dvd & book section. The selection isn't always that great & it's nothing like the dvd's snuff mentioned..However in saying that i have bought

"A Touch Of Frost (single episode) dvd
"A-Team" dvd with 3 episodes on it
    "X-Files" dvd with 4 episodes

Not a dvd but i bought the book
"And Now for Something Completely Digital: A Complete Illustrated Guide to Monty Python CDs and DVDs ".Not bad for a book that would usually cost £11.99

They never seem to have any good DVDs in the poundland in Folkestone. It is all silly cartoons for kids.

The Machinist is damn good, not least for Christian Bale's (?) extreme low weight is amazing (looks like a famine victim) - comparable to De Niro's weight fluxuations in Raging Bull.

Corr! Bargains :( The only DVDs I've ever seen in poundland are fishing/gardening/Z list celeb excersise DVDs and Z list 30 year old films.. :(

Snuff, where are you based? If it's anywhere within 50 miles I'd probably go to it just to buy all the DVDs you did!

i'm intrigued how the original poster listed all the titles, they must have a great memory or wrote them down in the shop.:)
I think a few of those titles were for sale down here in hampshire, some of the usb gadgets in poundland are worth £1-.
A few items are overpriced with no saving at all [i realise that is difficult in a pound shop].:)

Just been in looking at DVD's today and see they've got ST:TNG, X-Files and CSI ones now as well  and there's still a good range of films left. I've just expanded my collection somewhat :D
