Obviously this is meant to complement the Best of Series 1-3 thread. Name the 13 episodes that would make up your season from Hell!
Mine would be -
1. Aliens Of London
2. World War Three
3. The Idiot's Lantern
4. New Earth
5. 42
6. The Unquiet Dead
7. Rise Of The Cybermen
8. The Age Of Steel
9. Fear Her (ugh)
10. The Shakespeare Code
11. Boom Town
12. Army Of Ghosts
13. Doomsday.
I think they're the ones I particularly dislike. The series 2 finale just grates with me so much. The woman who plays Torchwood boss Yvonne Hartman in it...you can't take her seriously, and then she comes back as a Cyberman in Doomsday somehow having her voice! That's so terrible you just want to slap Russell T Davies!!

*Not because of Catherine Tate. I seem to be one of the few people who actually likes Catherine Tate, and I thought she was the best thing in an otherwise disappointing Christmas special.

It's interesting that a number of characters I like feature mainly, or heavily in these episodes (eg Face of Boe and Adam) - I found that quite odd.

as much as i like the royals and sutff that really did my head in, well almost we were rolling on the floor..
why on earth would a cyberwomen say that?

if i had to make the series up i would pick fathers day and boom town from S1
But I'd say the episodes I've liked least are Gridlock, The Lazarus Experiment, Fear Her and The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
TEC/TDD should really have been just one episode....it felt boring a plodding over 2. Ok it was mainly there to introduce captain jack, but still....stuff with Rose stuck high up and Jack perving on her, the Doctor sitting down to a meal with some runaways....yawn.
The Lazarus Experiment suprised me because it had all the ingredients for a great ep yet just...whizzed by so fast without any time for me to stop and care about the events going on....
At the end of it I just couldn't help the feeling of "So what?
Plus they used every cliche in the book, notably him rising from the dead when they thought the action was all over....,how suprised I wasn't!
Fear Her? Just....WHY? Ok it was to tap into the Olympic Spirit, but A) I don't care about the Olympics,

im opposite, i prefered season 2 over season 3
I think its a mixture of stories and lack of Rose, I am a big Rose fan but Martha did well. I think it was mainly the stories that brought her criticism
