I notice on my latest EE bill an amount for 82.5p to the EE App Store. It's only a trivial amount, but I didn't even know EE had an app store. What's this about ?

If you bought something from Google Play and it charged it to your phone bill instead of your credit card, that might explain it.

I do buy things from Google Play, but I'm not aware I've ever charged anything to the phone, indeed I didn't know I could. I'll look closely next time I buy something.

Not all phone providers provide this functionality, but some do allow you to charge your monthly bill instead of pay direct.

82.5 pence seems a strange amount.

    82.5p + 20% VAT = 99p

Well spotted that man. It does look like I bought an app.
